Room was comfortable and nice. Meals are not included but are fairly reasonably priced. Dining area overlooks a lake and we saw several birds while we were dining (we are amatue birders). Restaurant is not open all day but is open during breakfast/lunch/dinner times with different menu depending on meal time. We thought food was good and they have a decent amount of options and variety. Fresh juices and teas were very nice. They also have a pretty long cocktail list. Location was very good. Short walk to the Orangutan and Sun Bear centers. Walk to the Rain Forest discovery center was a bit further, about 1 mile and was on the side of the road for about the first half but it was not a bad walk and we felt safe. They were also able to arrange transfer in from the airport for us. Transfer and check in process were smooth. Overall would recommend if not just for the location. — Julia Meyer

This lodge in the rainforest of Borneo is one of my two favorite places in the world! I come here every year to spend several weeks on a terasse with a pond drinking good coffee and watching wildlife. Orangutans were visiting me straight at my table on the pond. The Staff of the Lodge is exceptional: the attentive and considerate terasse staff Sharly with her colleges made my time here perfect. —Yuliya H

Just back from a few days visit. Fabulous viewing of wildlife. Orang utan and sun bear sanctuaries were terrific and day and night walks at Rainforest Discovery Centre were fabulous. The lodge is comfortable and provides all you need. Staff are friendly and helpful. We thought it was great to see an orang utan at the lodge first morning during breakfast but the 2 visitors we had during breakfast 2nd day blew our minds —simonwilsonjersey
